ASIDSAL CHEM

TERMS OF USE

What this service is, and what it is not.

These terms apply to Asidsal Chem, operated by Asidsal Services Ltd. (RC 8569629), Nigeria. Using the service means accepting them. Last updated 26 September 2026.

The results are computational, not experimental

Docking produces predicted binding poses and scoring-function values. A Vina score is not a binding affinity, not an IC50, and not a measurement. Ranking two compounds by score does not establish that one binds more tightly. ADMET output is predicted, not observed.

Nothing this service returns is a basis for any decision affecting a person or an animal. It is not a medical device, not clinical decision support, and not a substitute for experiment. Confirm anything that matters in the laboratory.

Evidence shown in Target Discovery is measured data reported by others, reproduced with its provenance. We do not verify those measurements and do not present them as a prediction about your compound.

Your structures stay yours

You keep every right you have in the structures you submit. We claim no ownership of them and no licence beyond running the computation you asked for and returning the result to you. We do not use submitted structures to train models, and we do not share them with third parties.

Submit only structures you are entitled to submit. If your work is under an obligation of confidentiality, read Data handling first and decide whether this processing model meets it.

Licensed evidence keeps its licence

Target Discovery is built on ChEMBL, published under CC BY-SA 3.0, and UniProt, under CC BY 4.0. Those licences travel with the data. Nothing in these terms removes a right either licence grants you, and we do not restrict what you do with evidence you obtain here. Where you redistribute it, the licence conditions (attribution, and ShareAlike for ChEMBL-derived material) are yours to meet.

The docking protocols, receptor preparations, validation records and report formats are our own work and are not covered by those licences.

Accounts

Running a workspace requires an account, so that work is recorded against the person who ran it. You are responsible for what happens under yours; do not share credentials. Give an address you can receive mail at, because it is how we reach you about your account.

You may close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service, to circumvent allowances systematically, or unlawfully. Where we do, we will say why.

Allowances and availability

Free use carries a daily allowance counted in structures, so a submission of five structures uses five. A paid plan counts submissions instead, so one submission uses one whatever it carries, up to that plan's limit on structures per submission. The service also carries an overall daily ceiling, which is counted in structures for everyone and can be reached before a personal allowance is. All of these exist to keep capacity available rather than to whoever automates first. They are shown to you before you submit and may change.

The service is offered as it is, with no uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable for maintenance, may sleep when idle and take a moment to wake, and may queue submissions under load. We do not promise that a result will be produced within any period.

Payment, renewal and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period stated at purchase, in the currency shown. Nigerian VAT applies where it is due, and the price shown states whether it is included. Your invoice or receipt is issued to the account holder.

You may cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and the plan does not renew after that. We do not refund part of a period you have already used, except where the law requires it or where the service failed materially and we could not put it right.

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw within fourteen days. Where you ask us to begin the service immediately and acknowledge it at purchase, that right ends once the service has been supplied in full; otherwise we refund in proportion to what remains.

If you are in Nigeria, nothing here limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018, including where a service is not supplied as described.

A plan change never deletes work you were already promised to keep. Results created while a plan was active keep the retention they were given when they were created, even after the plan ends.

Liability

We are liable for what the law does not permit us to exclude, and for our own fraud or deliberate wrongdoing. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data, lost opportunity or indirect loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

This limit is the reason the first section is written as plainly as it is. A prediction is not a measurement, and we cannot stand behind decisions taken as if it were.

Changes, and where disputes go

We may change these terms. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, it takes effect for you at your next renewal, not during a period you have paid for. The date at the top records the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your own country.
