Dr. Abubakar Siddiq Salihu is a natural products chemist, computational drug discovery researcher, and AI innovator passionate about building tools that solve real problems in science and agriculture. With over 70 peer-reviewed publications and multiple international awards for research excellence, he brings a unique blend of scientific depth, software development experience, and entrepreneurial drive.
His work spans compound discovery, NMR-based structure elucidation, machine learning pipelines for drug design, and the development of AI-powered systems for agriculture, including poultry management and precision farming. While completing his PhD in Malaysia, he founded Asidsal Services Ltd. to bridge a major gap: making advanced scientific and agricultural workflows simple, accessible, and practical for everyday use.
As a hands-on researcher and builder, Dr. Abu Siddiq leads the design of all Asidsal AI products, from ArticleCrack to Poultry Manager and SpectraMatch, ensuring each tool is grounded in real research needs, validated by scientific expertise, and optimized for users in emerging economies.
